Philadelphia Wedding Florist – Brittney & Dwayne

Brittney and Dwayne did not let Covid stop them from having a beautiful and elegant wedding in the heart of Philadelphia. This wonderful couple was married on October 10th, 2020 at The Liberty View at Independence Visitor Center. Due to covid rules, this couple decided to have a “micro wedding” which meant that their guests only included their closest friends and family to keep the numbers down to a minimum. However, this did not stop them from having an unforgettable night.

A couple of our favorite things from Brittney and Dwayne’s big day:

Their wedding photo locations. Anthony Page Photography was able to capture some breathtaking photos of the couple in the heart of Philadelphia. With the backdrop of city hall, independence hall and other beautiful historic buildings in the city, Anthony Page was able to capture some beautiful photos.
The bride’s attire. Brittney was a vision in her wedding attire. From her stunning long sleeve mermaid dress, jewelry, veil and sparkling silver heels, Brittney made a gorgeous bride.
The groom’s attire. Dwayne did not settle for the traditional black tux. Instead, he went with black slacks and a purple coat with black trim. It was a great look for the groom, and complemented their wedding colors, perfectly.
Zoom with friends and family. Since the couple was unable to invite their entire guest list, they made sure they zoomed in the rest of their friends and family to share their special day.
The floral arch. Decorated by yours truly, this floral arch was a perfect backdrop for the couple to say “I Do.”
The father-daughter dance. How can you not highlight a father-daughter choreographed dance? It was phenomenal.

Pamela and Justin were married on June 29th 2020 at The Philadelphia Wedding Chapel in Philadelphia, PA. This beautiful couple did not let COVID-19 stop them from having a wedding of their dreams.

Pamela and Justin decided to have a mirco wedding. What is a micro wedding? This is a wedding that just includes close friends and family members (25 people or less) and it is the safest and most intimate way to hold a wedding during this pandemic.

Some highlights of their wedding day included the brides pink converse, the beautiful florals (floral crown, bouquet and boutonniere), the intimate ceremony with just their family members, their custom wedding face masks, and of course the glowing faces of a stunning couple.

Elegant Events was more than touched to work with such a beautiful couple on an intimate and happy day.

With the pandemic of Covid happening around the world, it has cancelled hundreds, if not thousands of weddings. With no end in sight of the virus, we are here to tell you, you can STILL have a beautiful wedding with the ones you love.

Our team at Elegant Events has created customized special packages for couples who want to elope or have a micro-wedding (25 people or less) with just their close family and friends. Our packages will help create a stress-free, all-inclusive intimate micro-wedding experience.

OUR ALL-INCLUSIVE PHILADELPHIA INTIMATE WEDDING PACKAGES

Our Deluxe Micro-Wedding Package: This package is ideal for wedding celebrations lasting up to 2 hours. It includes qualified micro-wedding Philadelphia venue, photography, entertainment, and a floral designer who’ll provide personal flowers and wedding decor.
Our Premium Micro-Wedding Package: This package is perfect for wedding celebrations lasting up to 5 hours. It includes qualified micro-wedding Philadelphia venue, photography, entertainment, and a floral designer who’ll provide personal flowers, ceremony and reception decor.

PLANNING SERVICES

Our experienced planners will be available to put together a customized team of wedding vendors and qualified micro-wedding venues in a personalized consultation appointment. Our team will be with you from beginning to end; managing vendor communication, day-of setup and event breakdown.

PHILADELPHIA VENUE

We have a relationship with some of the best Philadelphia venues to get you set up for your micro-wedding. Our preferred venues offer a span of options from ceremony only to ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner reception celebrations.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Our preferred photographers offer specified hours of coverage. Our packages include one photographer and an online gallery of details, portraits, ceremony and family photos.

FLORAL DESIGN

Our floral designers will create two seasonal, personal floral pieces for you and your spouse, as well as your wedding decor. This is all included in our Deluxe and Premium Micro-Wedding Collections!

ENTERTAINMENT

Our preferred DJ’s will provide set-up for your ceremony and reception, cordless mics and stands, along with additional emcee services and lighting effects when needed.

OTHER ITEMS TO KNOW FOR YOUR MICRO WEDDING

No more than 25 people for indoor events and no more than 250 people for outdoor events (this includes staff).
You can choose to have your micro-wedding package held in your own person residence.
Unfortunately you can NOT get a refund if you need to cancel. We will plan your wedding/elopement with the understanding that the governor, public health officials or mayor may decide to restrict any gatherings or modify the stay at home order. We CAN postpone/reschedule to another further date.
The average cost of a deluxe micro-wedding package costs around $5,500. This includes 2-hours at a Philadelphia venue, planning services, photography, our floral services, and entertainment. The exact pricing will vary depending on the venue you select and your event specifies.

Love is Not Quarantined

At Elegant Events, we pride ourselves on knowing the importance of “marriage.” We know and understand that getting married is so much more than having a grand, over the top wedding. Of course, there is nothing wrong with having that princess wedding you have dreamed, but we also like to remind our couples of the true meaning of why they have decided to get married.

With everything happening in the world today, weddings have gotten cancelled or postponed left and right. This has been a hardship for so many, including a handful of our own couples. This is why we have taken this time to connect our couples and help them remember why they fell in love with the other and what made them decide that they want to spend the rest of their life with that person. We want to assure every couple that no matter what challenges life bring us, they need to always remember they are in it together.

Marriage isn’t “I promise to love you until I stop loving you.” It’s “I promise to make a conscious decision to continue to love you even when its hard because im aware no one is perfect, but you are worth it” -Brandalin

So whether you decide to get married with 500 guests or if you decide to have a wedding with just your immediate family, we are here to remind you that no matter what, where or how many people are there, the most important thing is you get to be with your soulmate and best friend for the rest of your life.

A beautiful example of not letting this world get in the way of them getting married is a beautiful couple we had the pleasure of working with on June 29th 2020.

After getting engaged in January 2018, Pamela and Justin decided to take the leap and get married on June 29th 2020. However, this wasn’t one of our normal weddings we are used to doing. We had the privilege and honor of designing their flowers for their “minimony.” What’s a minimony you ask? A minimony is a wedding celebration they decided to have with just themselves and their parents. They decided to not let COVID-19 ruin their time to get married and start the beginning of the rest of their lives. It was a beautiful and perfect wedding.

Pamela and Justin decided to have their ceremony at The Philadelphia Wedding Chapel at Sherman Mills. The wonderful Stacey Thomas (owner of the wedding chapel for 9 years and apart of the wedding industry for 17 years) had the privilege of marrying the couple.

We were able to create a beautiful bridal bouquet, floral crown and groom boutonnière made of pink and ivory roses.The flowers complimented the beautiful couple perfectly
